At Wilson Logistics, we know that some journeys carry more than freight.
For more than a decade, Wilson Logistics has proudly partnered with the Truckload Carriers Association and The Wall That Heals, a traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial that brings remembrance, healing, and connection to communities across America.
Recently, Wilson Logistics driver Scott Schlup helped transport The Wall That Heals to Bartlesville, Oklahoma — but what unfolded during that week became much more than a delivery.
According to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund team, Scott arrived with “full commitment and honor,” proudly representing Wilson Logistics from the moment he stepped on site.
But it was the way Scott connected with visitors that left a lasting impact.
Throughout the week, Scott helped families locate names on The Wall, answered questions about the memorial, and supported visitors experiencing deeply personal moments of reflection and remembrance. Before long, attendees weren’t just visiting The Wall — they were asking to meet “the driver.”
One moment in particular stood out.

While helping a family locate a loved one’s name, Scott explained the meaning behind the diamond and cross symbols etched into the memorial. As the family walked along The Wall together, one member pointed to another name marked with a cross — only to suddenly realize it belonged to a high school friend he had lost during the war.
The family stood in tears.
The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund later described the experience as a moment of “Wall Magic” — one of those deeply emotional and unexplainable connections that happen around The Wall every day.
And Scott was honored to be part of it.

By the end of the week, Scott had become an honorary member of the Bartlesville community, always proudly wearing the Wilson Logistics logo and stepping in wherever help was needed — even helping repair equipment before departing.
In a message to Wilson Logistics leadership, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund praised Scott for representing “the best of Wilson Logistics” and embodying the spirit of partnership, service, and dedication that has defined this relationship for years.
At Wilson Logistics, we believe trucking is ultimately about people.
It’s about showing up.
It’s about service.
It’s about carrying something bigger than ourselves.
We are incredibly proud of Scott Schlup for the compassion, professionalism, and heart he demonstrated throughout this experience, and we are honored to continue supporting The Wall That Heals and the mission of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund.
Some loads carry more than cargo.
Some journeys carry meaning.
