The Mileage Advantage & Top-of-the-Line Equipment
If you look across the industry, you’ll notice that many companies lease trucks with over 1 million miles on them.
At Wilson, we don’t allow any truck to exceed 395,000 odometer miles. Most trucks are Freightlingers, and all of our equipment is less than 2 years old fleetwide. That means your truck will be under Driveline Warranty for the duration of your lease, with physical damage insurance included.
A mileage-based lease gives you the chance to own the rig sooner. And by operating new and updated equipment from start to finish, you’ll enjoy lower maintenance costs and better fuel efficiency. Thanks to Wilson’s driver-friendly terms, most of our drivers still have about 1 year or 100,000 miles left on their warranty by the time the lease ends.
Walk-Away Lease Terms
If you’re an experienced driver, you’re eligible to lease a brand new truck from Wilson with no money down and no credit check. Because it’s a variable lease, that means your payments automatically decrease every 12 months. In addition, our walkaway lease terms give you the flexibility to buy, sell or return your truck at the end of your lease term.
Earnings Potential & Perks
The Wilson lease program is tailor-made to maximize driver profitability. Our lease drivers earn 70% of each load carried and 100% of the fuel surcharge. You also have the opportunity for a lease completion bonus of 3.25 cents per mile for all dispatch miles run upon completion of your lease. Drivers typically receive between $14,000 and $30,000 in lease completion incentives. Finally, Wilson offers a 5-year $10,000 longevity bonus for our most loyal lease drivers.

Wilson offers a Making CENTS class for all lease drivers. This informative class gives you all of the information you need to become a successful lease operator. You’ll also learn everything you need to know about the fundamentals of lease driving.
When you lease purchase with us, you automatically become a Wilson Independent Contractor. That means you’ll have access to all of our maintenance and fuel discounts across the lower 48 states. You’ll have an escrow account set up for tire and maintenance costs, with the ability to cash out any left over funds at the end of your lease.
Wilson also offers an attractive rider and pet policy to keep you company on the road. Drivers may bring one passenger and up to two pets along for the ride. Passengers must be age 10 or older and not pregnant. Our pet policy has no deposit, no weight restriction and no breed restriction.
